Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance Invites All Young Ghosts and Goblins to a Trick-or-Treat Boo Bash!

Get ready for a spook-tacular time on October 24 as downtown businesses hand out treats to all the trick-or-treaters, followed by a children’s costume parade and Nights at Nance Halloween Celebration with Tru Sol in Nance Plaza.

“We’re celebrating Halloween a week early with our last Nights at Nance concert. So, we thought it would be a lot of fun for families to have a safe environment to trick or treat before the concert. Ninth Avenue North will be closed to traffic all afternoon and become Boo Boulevard at 3 PM. Downtown businesses will be streetside and hand out candy and treats for the children. Then, we’ll transition to our Nights at Nance festivities with a children’s costume parade at 5:30 PM, which ends at Nance Plaza,” shares Jason Greene, CEO, Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance. “We can’t wait to see all the creative costumes and share in the Halloween fun!”

The Boo Bash festivities begin at 3 PM along Ninth Avenue North (from Broadway Street to Kings Highway) when it turns into Boo Boulevard. The afternoon will be filled with candy, costumes and screams of delight. Streetside, downtown businesses will be set up for trick-or-treating from 3-5 PM with a children’s Halloween Costume Parade at 5:30 PM and Tru Sol kicking off at 5:30 PM, following the costume parade.
