Jason Greene
President & CEO
Jason Greene attended the University of Southern California and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995 and completed the Naval ROTC (Marine Corps Option) program. He served on active duty as an officer in the United States Marine Corps for 8 ½ years. He served as a helicopter pilot and a forward air controller. He also served as a night (weapons and tactics) systems instructor and a functional check pilot instructor. Additionally, he held leadership positions as an intelligence officer, maintenance officer, and operations officer. He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
After leaving the military in 2003, he began a career in construction and property management. In 2014, he transitioned to executive leadership in the non-profit industry. He went on to become the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Horry County in 2020 and served in that role until 2023. He has also been heavily involved in civic engagement and has been a member of the Rotary Club of Myrtle Beach since 2005. He has served on several committees and boards, including the Leadership Grand Strand Board of Regents, New Directions of Horry County, and the City of Myrtle Beach Technology Advisory Group Committee. In addition, he served on the WRCOG Workforce Development Board and the Horry County Community Collaborative (HC3) Steering Committee. Jason has lived in the City of Myrtle Beach with his family since 2003.
