Discover Downtown Dining (D3)

Myrtle Beach’s growing hot spot for restaurants, bakers, shopping and more is in downtown Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance is hosting its next Discover Downtown Dining (D3), a tasting tour of the downtown restaurants.

This moveable feast will be a Taste of Downtown at Kings Festival Plaza along Kings Highway and will include a tasty combination of food and beverages from participating restaurants. Entertainment will be provided throughout the event.  

D3 is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 from 5-8 PM. Tickets are $40 per person and includes dishes and beverages from five restaurants along Kings Highway. If attendees would like to be grouped within the same group, please contact michelle.cantey@mbdowntown.org after tickets have been purchased.

Participating restaurants include Big Mike’s Soul Food, Nine Spices Korean Hot Pot, Riga Tony’s and Why Not Wings.

EVENT SCHEDULE

4:00 PM Guest Check-in opens

5:00 PM Opening reception and first course at Riga Tony’s

6:00 PM Walk to second restaurant.

6:30 PM Walk to third restaurant.

7:00 PM Walk to fourth restaurant.

7:30 PM Walk to Riga Tony’s for dessert, awards and after party.

Attendees will cast votes for their favorite dish. The D3 People’s Choice Award will be announced and presented at the end of the event.

This event is designed to show the walkability of our downtown area. Comfortable footwear is recommended as attending foodies will walk between each of the restaurants.
