We are dedicated to infusing the essence of our past while igniting excitement for Downtown Myrtle Beach's future, which forms the cornerstone of our journey.
MEET OUR STAFF: Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance is a privately led, publicly supported place management organization. Our staff works daily on the revitalization and redevelopment of Downtown Myrtle Beach.
Gold Cap Ambassadors
Myrtle Beach’s Gold Cap Ambassadors are highly visible, well trained, and friendly individuals who are part of a cooperative effort to enhance and promote Downtown Myrtle Beach as a unique, authentic, and vibrant downtown experience. They provide guests with information, directions to area businesses and attractions, and the ability to communicate with the Myrtle Beach Police Department and facilitate our improvements through communication and contacts.
All our Gold Cap Ambassadors are radio equipped and can be dispatched for a variety of services. They patrol throughout the 40-block Downtown Area and are easy to spot with their gold shirts adorned with the MBDA logo and their warm, welcoming smiles.
Board Members
The Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance is a privately led, publicly supported place management organization. Our Board of Directors provides vital support to downtown management and rejuvenation by coordinating, collaborating, and achieving a consensus between a diverse group of stakeholders, which includes business and property owners, representatives from non-governmental organizations such as One Grand Strand, and officials from the City of Myrtle Beach.
